Job Description:

Adecco is working with a local Grand Rapids company to fill an immediate need in as an estimator. The general day for this position includes estimating cost of potential manufacturing production work, developing long term relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers, and managing small to medium projects from inception to completion.

The essential job functions include:

-Promptly prepare and submit costs and process quotes in JobBoss in response to customer RFQ's.

-Promptly update quote to current costing model in JobBoss in response to customer purchase orders in which quotation has expired.

-Ensure positive and long-lasting ongoing relationships with both clients and internal teams.

-Anticipate and proactively solve problems.

-Manage multiple projects concurrently maintaining a command of details, timelines and next steps. In addition to follow up that the above has been achieved.

-Promptly respond and resolve any issues that may arise from customers and/or suppliers.

-Promptly respond and resolve any issues related to the Laser Dynamics internal process.

-Effectively manage customer revision level changes thru file management, JobBoss routing, and full review to capture cost and/or capability impact.
