(LCI) is seeking candidates for the position of copywriter. Our
diverse products and brands within the RVing, Boating, Towing and
Truck Accessory space require quality content crafted with search
engine optimization in mind. We are looking for a bright, curious,
efficient and results-oriented individual who is a proactive
learner and will leverage their unique talents and point-of-view to
advance our business through the power of branded
storytelling.You'll have the opportunity to learn from and
collaborate with a large, experienced, in-house marketing team and
a wide array of subject matter experts to develop engaging content
that resonates with our B2B and B2C audiences. You will play a key
role in ensuring our marketing content and optimizations hit the
mark, regardless of the type or distribution channel.Working
alongside our Content & SEO team, you will be responsible for
creating content for our websites, paid and organic search
marketing programs, and ecommerce marketplaces such as Amazon. You
are the type of person driven to stay ahead of content trends,
strives to incorporate best-in-class techniques to boost online
presence and creates high-quality content that caters to the wants
and needs of your readers, customers and buyers.You will be
responsible primarily for writing product descriptions and other
content to support our products. You will also have the opportunity
to write blog posts, how-to guides and informative articles to
support a variety of marketing initiatives. You will be responsible
for researching, developing and ultimately executing on a variety
of topics. You will also provide written content support for
marketing emails, press releases and video scripts.Working in the
Marketing department for Lippert will transform you from a
copywriter into a true, integrated, multi-channel content marketer.
You'll see and form the bigger picture by blending search,
ecommerce, media, social, creative and technology.Duties and
Responsibilities:Research, write, edit and proof content for a wide
variety of marketing resources, such as product detail pages, sales
flyers, feature-and-benefit pieces, landing pages, blogs, A+
content, articles, Google Search and Display Ads, video scripts,
social media posts and more!Translate business and marketing
objectives and strategy into compelling written content for
specific audiences.Strong communications skills are also essential.
This position will communicate with other team members from
Marketing and across the business, as well as with third-party
representatives, customers and organizations.Working
Conditions:Primarily working indoors, office environment.May sit
for several hours at a time.Prolonged exposure to computer
screens.Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and
copiers.Qualifications:3-5 years' experience writing, researching,
editing and proofing content for online marketing programs and
tacticsKnowledge of search optimization and digital marketing best
practicesBachelor's degree in English, creative writing,
journalism, communications, marketing or a related fieldCurrent
with content and SEO industry standards, trends and new
developmentsCompetencies:Must have strong communication and
organizational skills, initiative, team player, decision making,
time management and thoroughness.Supervisory Responsibility:This
position has no supervisory responsibilities upon hiring; however,
potential direct reports are a possibility.Position Type/Expected
Hours of Work:This is a full-time salaried role primarily working
Monday-Friday.Travel:Travel will be moderate and would be primarily
local during the business day.Preferred Education and
Experience:Previous experience in public relationsExperience with
Microsoft Excel for sorting and organizing large amounts of
contentWork Authorization/Security Clearance:Must be able to pass
