Superintendent Job Description The position, internally referred to
as Site Manager, involves overseeing a $30 million project in
Kokomo, with two projects on one site. The role includes working
closely with the Carmel School District, focusing on renovations
and additions to elementary schools. While projects could range
from Bloomington to Kokomo, they will predominantly be in the
Indianapolis area. This position is integral to the construction
management team. Responsibilities Oversee the project in the field.
Set up the job site office. Maintain relationships with the owner.
Supervise and coordinate contractors. Build and manage the project
schedule. Ensure the delivery of long lead items. Run progress
meetings and author minutes. Handle daily operations and produce
daily reports. Resolve field issues and manage RFIs. Review and
approve payment applications. Ensure project completion on time and
within budget. Essential Skills Experience in subcontractor
management. Ground-up site management. Ability to maintain
relationships with owners. Coordination with owners and
contractors. Daily operations management. Approval of payment for
approved change orders. Problem-solving with architects,
contractors, and owner's representatives. Reviewing shop drawings
prior to installation. Quality control in building construction.
Management of general trades (e.g., concrete, excavation). Computer
aptitude and knowledge. OSHA 30 certification. Additional Skills &
Qualifications Experience in K12/Educational Construction is a
plus. Open to multifamily construction experience. Work Environment
The work schedule is from 7 am to 4 pm, five days a week on-site.
As sunrise occurs earlier, the workday starts and ends earlier. The
role offers a salaried position with mileage reimbursed at 0.54
cents per mile, a cell phone reimbursement of $70 per month, and a
computer and iPad provided. The company is 100% employee-owned and

position based out of Kokomo, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range
for this position is $78000.00 - $125000.00/hr. Eligibility
