Job DescriptionThe Network Support Engineer will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands under a five-year contract. The scope includes professional services for MARCENT located at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida, supporting the 5th MEB in Bahrain, which conducts tactical command and control within CENTCOM's AOR.Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical support and serve as a local IT SME for USMC C4ISR systems worldwide.
• Support system operations, maintenance, and user training at garrison and deployed locations.
• Recommend architecture modifications to meet mission requirements.
• Assist in implementing advanced technical processes and troubleshooting.
• Prepare procedures, demonstrate technical capabilities, and monitor performance.Ancillary Support Tasks

• Configure and backup network devices, support security devices, and assist with network installations.
• Respond to support requests, manage accounts, and troubleshoot network issues.
• Maintain system backups, perform upgrades, and administer security and directory services.
• Create communication and training materials, advise leadership, and collaborate across domains.Qualifications
  • Must possess a current US Passport and be able to travel overseas.
  • Meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element certification requirements per DoD and Air Force instructions.
  • Complete a favorable ST5 investigation for SCI eligibility and maintain security clearance.
  • Minimum qualification in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2.
  • Must hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance.Experience
    • Preferred: prior experience with USMC C4ISR equipment and five years of military experience.Work Location
      • 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Naval Support Activity Bahrain, Manama, Bahrain.
      • Travel to various locations in support of government requirements, including CENTCOM AOR countries.
