Project Engineer - Pharmaceuticals - USA - Contract

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Engineer to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Chicago, this is a large-scale greenfield capital project and investing more than $1bn.

Responsibilities:

• Advise the project team and design partners on industry-standard design for parenteral processes
• Possess strong technical knowledge of mechanical, process, electrical utilities, equipment, and instrumentation
• Review design documents for consistency and construction-friendly modifications
• Provide input on constructability to accelerate design package delivery
• Support project manager in managing owner-furnished equipment
• Write RFPs for OFCI procurement and lead related review meetings
• Coordinate project schedules and ensure connection between phases like construction, fit-out, and C&QSkills and Experience:
  
  • Extensive experience working in the Life Sciences industry including, construction, operations, or manufacturing with technical experience in finished product storage and operations.
  • Extensive Parenteral design and construction experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP'S, regulatory requirements, equipment commissioning and qualification.Good written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff
