Equipment Technician to join their team. As a Medical Equipment
Technician, you will be part of the service department supporting
the maintenance and repair of vital biomedical equipment. The ideal
candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention
to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a proactive approach to service
and troubleshooting, which will align successfully in the
organization. Job Title: Medical Equipment Technician Location:
Grand Rapids, MI Pay Range: $19/hr Shift: 7am-4pm Monday through
Friday What's the Job? Diagnose issues and faults with a variety of
biomedical equipment, including life support ventilators and
respiratory devices. Perform regular preventive maintenance checks,
repairs, and updates to ensure safety and performance standards are
met. Verify the functionality of equipment post-service to ensure
reliability and accuracy. Maintain detailed records of all
services, tests, and repairs conducted. Stay updated with the
latest developments and best practices in the biomedical equipment
industry to provide top-tier service. What's Needed? Background in
machine or small motor repair, with a focus on troubleshooting and
maintenance. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Military
veterans with MOS in repair or maintenance fields are encouraged to
apply. Some training in IT, cell phone, or small motor repair is
advantageous. Ability to work independently and as part of a team,
