Job Description:

Cox Automotive is seeking an experienced Supervisor for our Mechanic Shop within our dynamic team. This role is pivotal, overseeing daily operations and ensuring unbeatable quality in service and repairs of vehicles. With an extensive background in both mechanical expertise and team leadership, the successful candidate will lead a team of mechanics and other shop staff in servicing a diverse range of automotive needs, ensuring all operations sync with Cox Automotives high standards and operational efficiencies. Oversee daily shop activities and ensure efficient operations. Manage, supervise, and train a team of mechanics and other shop staff. Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and operational policies. Schedule and delegate work to staff based on priorities and skill sets. Monitor inventory levels and order parts and supplies as necessary. Maintain quality control and customer service standards. Perform administrative duties, including job reports and staff performance reviews. Collaborate with other departments to improve service offerings and resolve any operational challenges. Proven expertise in automotive mechanics and vehicle repairs. Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make timely decisions. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Proficient with automotive diagnostic software and tools. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Service Manager (CSM) preferred
