Dealership Auto Technician at CarMax, you will handle a range of
duties from routine maintenance to complex repairs, ensuring the

supported by a team of like-minded professionals. Perform work
specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in
accordance with dealership standards Diagnose and repair vehicle
automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical,
steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. Explain
mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner
to service advisors and customers Continuously learn new technical
information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to
stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Inspect and test new
vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be
made. In-depth knowledge of automobile systems and components
Excellent manual dexterity skills Strong problem-solving ability
Good communication skills Ability to operate all auto repair tools
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance 401k ASE Certification (National Institute for
Automotive Service Excellence)
