Finance Director / Deputy Director

The Housing Authority, City of Elkhart is seeking a qualified individual to plan, organize, and
direct the day-to-day and long-term financial functions of the agency. This individual must have
proven ability in financial management of budget development, internal financial controls,
analysis, planning, and project financing and costing. Proven ability to develop financial strategy
and improve operations. Works under the leadership of the Executive Director and ensures that
the agency follows sound accounting practices. Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an
accredited college or university with major coursework in finance or accounting, and five (5)
years of experience in a progressively responsible finance position with three (3) years in a
supervisory capacity. This person also serves as Deputy Director and will occasionally supervise
the agency in the Executive Director's absence. Qualified candidates please submit cover letter
