KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Account Management to
join our Growth and Strategy organization.Responsibilities:
- Work in collaboration with the account team leadership to
support operational functions of the account; build out and
implement account processes to meet business operational needs and
ensure account compliance with client requirements; focus on
mitigating risks on the account by ensuring adherence to the client
MSA, regulatory, and compliance requirement; own operational
processes on the account, implementing workflow improvements to
achieve operational excellence
- Take responsibility for the following which includes but are
not limited to account strategy and business development, account
reporting, MSA compliance requirements, member firm requirements,
operational excellence, team organization, collaboration, and
communication
- Partner with account leadership to standardize operational
processes and implement enhancements; assist with the
implementation and integration of client Vendor Management Systems
(VMS); provide direction/oversight to junior Account Management
resources to ensure effective operations, collaboration, and
information sharing; manage Contractor Labor Programs; coordinate
responses to member firm inquiries
- Leverage appropriate firm tools and resources for accurate and
timely reporting; manage account reporting to include pipeline,
financial planning, engagement tracking, and responses to client
requests for information; coordinate response to other required
KPMG or client-required reporting; build and maintain relationship
with client vendor management and/or procurement function to
optimize contracting; train and supervise work of onshore and
offshore resources
- Understand the operational implications of the client Master
Services Agreement (MSA), statement of work (SOW) templates and
rate card(s); ensure compliance with MSA requirements (Information
Protection Plan, Web Controls, and so on); facilitate responses to
client requests, audits, and risk assessments; assist with risk
management activities
- Contribute to new account team onboarding, onboarding
collateral creation, and collaboration platform maintenance; ensure
business continuity of the account processes and
resourcesQualifications:
- Minimum five years of recent experience in one or more business
related areas including financial and data analysis, project
management, and business operations management
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in
business administration, finance or related field; master's degree
from an accredited college/university preferred
- Experience in the end-to-end account operations processes
management is preferred; familiarity with collaboration platforms,
Customer Relationship Databases and Vendor Management Systems is
preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, problem
solving, and analytical skills with an ability to proactively
manage upwards; strong project management skills with the
capability to manage concurrent projects, prioritize multiple
tasks, and apply proactive and creative approach leveraging firm
tools and resources
- Solid critical thinking and issue resolution skills, with a
drive to tackle complex challenges and offer effective solutions;
deep understanding of different business functions and engage, as
needed; able to assess end-to-end processes, identify gaps, propose
solutions, and oversee implementation
- Effective time management skills and aptitude to effectively
manage stakeholder expectations and delegate as well as to exercise
independent judgment to make day-to-day decision; great
presentation skills with capacity to summarize and analyze large
data sets for leadership review; proficient in Microsoft Office and
data analysis/reporting in Excel is required
