Description
We are hiring aDealer Business Manageron our Centralized Sales team
to partner with dealer leadership to drive Steelcase sales through
assigned dealers. Your objective is to ensure dealers meet sales
goals and sell the complete Steelcase portfolio of products. What
You Will Be Doing:
- Partner with assigned Steelcase dealers to build alignment,
develop sales, and promote key products, programs and
initiatives.
- First point of contact for dealers for unassigned new &
existing dealer business opportunities.
- Own relationships with your assigned dealers and dealer leaders
to build trust and alignment.
- Direct sales strategies as part of the Steelcase selling
process and be the voice of the dealer within Steelcase.
- Accountable for sales results, discount targets, and key
measures for your assigned dealers. Minimum Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of customer facing sales or sales support
experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and CRM Preferred
Qualifications:
- Experience working in the contract furniture industry,
preferably a thorough understanding of the Steelcase sales
process
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Experience working within a dealer model Who You Are:

Centralized Sales Team is a group of about 25 experienced,
passionate sales folks that exist as a bridge between our dealers
and Steelcase Grand Rapids. Our team is designed to allow
field-based sales to maximize their face-to-face interaction with
local customers & influencers while providing best in class support
to our dealers. Our proximity to GR allows an in-depth knowledge of
all the resources designed for dealers , easy access & strong
relationships with the corporate teams like Order Fulfillment,
Pricing & Contracts, Channel, Credit and Product Management.
