We are seeking Mobile Dentists to join our team and provide excellent dental care to our patients! New College Graduate or Experienced physician, this is the opportunity for you! Mobile Dentist with Aria Care Partners delivers patient care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities around the Elkhart, IN area. You will be responsible for discussing and treating dental concerns, assessing dental health, and performing preventative procedures, cleanings, and oral cancer screenings. Ultimately, you'll promote good oral health and help patients apply preventive dental care. Work-Life Balance that Works for You! Work as little as one day a week OR up to five days a week; full-time/part-time you choose, we work with your schedule! Pay- $ 750.00- $900.00 / Day Responsibilities Interacting with patients and instructing them on proper oral care; developing oral hygiene treatment plans to manage, improve, and treat dental and oral health issues to improve overall oral hygiene Performing complex procedures such as fillings, extractions, denture-related services, and other duties to ensure healthy teeth and mouth. Measuring and fitting dental appliances, i.e., dentures and partial dentures. Performing dental procedures, such as extractions and fillings to treat dental decay and disease. Ordering diagnostic measures, such as x-rays, and so forth. Applying helpful agents to teeth, such as SDF and fluoride varnish, when necessary. Keeping records relating to the oral health of patients and the treatments given to them. Managing and communicating with the family or responsible parties and facility to ensure that the patient has the proper support for successful daily oral hygiene. Requirements Capable of performing dental procedures on medically compromised patients on-location (i.e., Skilled Nursing Facility). Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, diagnostics, and instrumentation. Willingness to follow all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and health care. Willingness to expand knowledge in geriatric and special needs care with a continued desire to seek out and employ best practices. Physical Demands & Working Conditions Work is performed in a skilled nursing setting with mobile dental equipment. Prolonged periods are spent driving vehicles, standing, and moving throughout the facility. Must be able to perform dental exams and other procedures bedside and with patients in various types of wheelchairs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed represent the required knowledge, skills, and ability.
