Job Description:
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Location: Grand Rapids,
MI Job duration: 3 months of contract (Possibilities of Extension)
Shift: Evening – 3 pm - 11:30 pm NOTE : Must live an hour away from
facility Note: Referral Bonus Provided. Job Description: We are
seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to support surgical
services by performing all aspects of sterile processing, including
decontamination, preparation, packaging, and sterilization of
surgical instruments and patient care equipment. Responsibilities:
· Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical
instruments and equipment · Prepare case carts according to
surgical schedule · Operate sterilizers and ensure proper
documentation of cycles · Utilize instrument tracking systems
(ABACUS/MICROSYSTEMS preferred) · Maintain cleanliness and
organization of the sterile processing area · Lift and transport
heavy trays and carts as needed · Communicate effectively and work
well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
