Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapist Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Duration: 13 Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in ICU License: Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Certifications: BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Critical Care credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred. Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred. Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care preferred. Must-Have: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience or an Associate's degree/Technical degree or 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required. Description: The position involves providing care to patients requiring respiratory therapy in a critical care environment. Candidates will perform assessments, develop care plans, and administer treatments. The role requires working every other weekend and during two summer and winter holidays. Knowledge of adult ICU protocols and best practices is essential. Candidates must maintain current BLS certification and other required credentials.
