Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/10/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for day shifts in a dynamic cardiac and vascular IR environment, requiring at least 1 year of experience and Cerner proficiency. Responsibilities - Work in an Interventional Radiology unit with procedures assisting radiologists in minimally invasive, sterile techniques - Patient population includes cardiac and vascular cases - Day shifts are 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM - Call required for 2 shifts per week, with a 30 minute callback requirement - Holiday coverage is only required for call shifts - Floating may occur to Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) within hospital or affiliate facilities as needed based on volume - Use of Cerner and McKesson charting systems, Cerner experience required - Scrubs are provided - Duties include maintaining a sterile environment and directly assisting radiologists during invasive IR procedures - Orientation modules must be completed before start, estimated 3-8 hours self-reported - Professional conduct is strictly enforced and contract may be terminated for unprofessional behavior - First-time travelers are accepted - Maximum RTO is 10 days, and if requesting time off during holidays, candidate must be willing to work at least 1 of the 3 major holidays - No parking fees apply Requirements - Minimum of 1 year experience in interventional radiology required - ARRT and state license required if applicable - BLS certification required - Experience with Cerner EMR required - Ability to maintain a sterile field and assist in vascular and cardiac interventions - Willingness to float within facility or to nearby affiliate as needed - Must be able to take call shifts with a 30 minute callback - Must be willing to complete pre-assignment online modules (up to 8 hours) - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted - Return travelers must have been absent for 3 years before eligible to return Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-619997.
