Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/03/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and Cerner charting proficiency for a Level III Trauma facility. Responsibilities - Short-term acute care setting in the Interventional Radiology unit - Level III Trauma environment with 244 staffed beds - Daily caseload of approximately 15 cases per technologist - Procedures include assisting radiologists with minimally invasive interventions under sterile conditions - Schedules available: 5x8, 4x10, or 4x9 day shifts starting at 8:00 AM - On-call required 2 days per week and every third weekend or holiday as needed, with 30-minute callback - May float to affiliate hospitals in the area depending on census and skills - Charting performed in Cerner McKesson & Cerner EMR systems - Scrubs provided by the facility - First-time travelers are welcome to apply - Must be willing to accommodate up to 10 days of RTO, and work at least 1 of the 3 major holidays if request falls during holiday periods - Return staff must have a 3-year gap before being considered - Team members are expected to maintain high standards of professional conduct on assignment - Completion of pre-start modules (3-8 hours, up to 8 hours billable) is required within the first week after signing - Free parking is available on site Requirements - Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience required - Valid state license required if applicable; pending state license accepted if active by start date - Cerner charting experience required - Willingness to participate in required training modules pre-assignment - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted - Ability to participate in call rotation and respond within 30 minutes Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-621883.
