Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Required License: Pending License Accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS Required; NIHSS Preferred Must-Have: - Ability to float within healthcare facilities. - Experience with Cerner charting system. - Blood Product Administration skills. - Cardiac Telemetry experience. - Management of dysrhythmias. - Non-invasive airway management capabilities. - Peripheral Line Care/Management experience. Description: Position available in the Flexible Acuity Unit. This role requires a night shift of three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend is required. There are no call requirements. One holiday is required per 13-week contract. A patient ratio of 5:1 is expected during all shifts. Daily census averages 8 patients, primarily adults and geriatrics. Additional unit support includes IV teams, respiratory services, and rapid response teams. Patient diagnoses include infectious diseases, ventilation issues, and acute withdrawal management. Travel experience is required, and first-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must agree to adhere to professional conduct standards. This is a sensitive assignment, and conduct issues may result in contract termination. Travelers must complete up to 8 hours of training modules before starting. Candidates must have the required certifications prior to starting the position.
