Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Acute Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (08:30 - 18:30) Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: State license required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Previous experience in acute care - Charting experience in Cerner Description: Position available for an Occupational Therapist in an acute care setting. Shift is 4x10 hours with weekend requirements of one shift per month. Float requirements may include outpatient coverage with additional training. Preferred experience with pediatrics and adolescents. Daily patient census averages 22 patients with a productivity standard of 22 units. Must be willing to float within the hospital or affiliate facilities as needed. Candidates must possess a valid state license or be willing to participate in the licensure project. BLS certification is required prior to start. Experience in charting with Cerner is preferred. Candidates must be prepared to complete necessary modules prior to the start date. All travelers must adhere to professional conduct standards to avoid contract termination. RTO restrictions apply; a maximum of 10 days is allowed. If RTO coincides with holidays, willingness to work one of the three holidays is required. Returning staff must have been away for three years before considering rehire. Travel requirements mandate that candidates come from over 50 miles away. Submission of all required certifications is necessary before the start date.
