to find a qualified Correctional RN in Chicago, Illinois, 60608!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Correctional Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12
hours (11:00 AM - 11:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
recent acute care experience in Med/Surg. Correctional experience
preferred. License: Active nursing license required.
Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: Ability to
float within scope to meet facility needs. Description: The
position is for a Registered Nurse in a correctional setting. The
shift is 3 days per week, working 12 hours each day from 11:00 AM
to 11:30 PM. No block scheduling accommodations will be accepted.
Clinical staff will be required to float to meet facility needs.
Every other weekend is required, totaling 2 weekends per month.
Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 5 days, with no
more than 2 consecutive days. Requests for time off will not be
approved on holidays or the weekends before and after holidays. All
nursing staff may be floated to various units as needed, including
areas outside of their primary specialty. Non-compliance with
floating may result in cancellation of the contract. Returning
nurses must go through recredentialing and reorientation regardless
of the break duration between contracts. Proof of vaccinations must
be submitted before the start date. Candidates must be responsive
and provide updates for all required documentation. Failure to
remain compliant may jeopardize the assignment. 5 Benefits of
