Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Battle Creek, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,074 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid Michigan RN License required Certifications: BLS (AHA) required Must-Have: Travel experience required Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units Ability to work with a variety of staff members Description: Travel experience is required. Will consider ER experience. This unit has a focus on constant reassessment of patient readiness for discharge. The unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients. Staffing ratios during the day typically run 1:4-5; if an RN/LPN team is present, they can go up to 1:7. The role includes floating to other medical-surgical units as needed. Staff will work every other weekend. The unit sees a good mix of medical patients. There is a variety of staff working on this unit and other medical-surgical units, including RNs, LPNs, and Techs. Proof of flu vaccination is required. Medical exemptions for vaccines will be considered. Background checks will be conducted prior to contracting. All lab work should be completed within 48-72 hours of signing the contract. References are required. Modules are self-reported and completed annually.
