Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum 1 year License: Valid state license must be pending or the
candidate must be willing to participate in the licensure project
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS preferred Must-Have: Previous
charge experience preferred, travel experience required
Description: Position/Specialty: Stepdown - Flexible Acuity Shift:
Nights - 3x12 (1900-0730) Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Call Requirement: None Floating Requirement: Required Holiday
Requirement: 1 holiday per contract Guaranteed Hours: 36 Travelers
are permitted to call off twice per assignment. This policy mirrors
the facility's ability to cancel a traveler's shift up to two times
without penalty. If a traveler calls off a third time, the unit
manager will determine next steps. Certifications required include
ACLS and BLS. NIHSS is preferred. Patient Ratios: 5 patients during
all shifts Interdisciplinary support teams available include IV
Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others. Daily
census averages 8 patients. Special patient diagnoses may include
infectious diseases and acute respiratory failure. Important
procedures may involve telemetry monitoring and management of
central lines. Travelers need to be willing to float within the
hospital or to nearby affiliates depending on volume and census.
Candidates must complete required modules prior to start. This
assignment requires adherence to professional conduct standards.
Any issues like unprofessional behavior may result in contract
