Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: Kalamazoo, MI Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,092 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent experience preferred, Level 1 Trauma experience strongly recommended License: Valid state RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), and TNCC - Preferred certifications: ENPC and NIH - CPI certification preferred Description: The role requires a registered nurse to provide care in the emergency room setting. Working in this unit involves interacting with diverse patient age groups including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The expected patient ratio is 5 patients per nurse. The nurse will have no call requirement but will be expected to work every other weekend and holidays as needed by the unit. Holidays will require the nurse to be available as needed, without guaranteed time off requests. The nurse must be prepared to clock in and be ready for report at the start of the scheduled shift. Experience working in a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center is preferred. There is no floating requirement for this position. All lab work must be completed within the specified time frame after signing the contract. Proof of flu vaccination is required upon submission, with medical exemption requests needing to be submitted within the designated timeframe. Modules are completed during orientation and annually, with all requirements self-reported. References are required before employment may be finalized.
