Valid state licensure to practice physical therapy in the location of employment. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic exercise principles. Experience with patient assessment and development of individualized treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in an outpatient clinical setting. Certification in specialized therapy techniques. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Ability to work with diverse patient populations across all age groups. Commitment to continuing education and professional growth. Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical conditions and functional limitations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments and clinical guidelines. Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient mobility and reduce pain. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly to achieve optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and health maintenance. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress notes. Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and participate in ongoing professional development. Skills: The required skills enable the Physical Therapist to accurately assess patient conditions and design effective treatment plans that promote recovery and functional improvement. Strong communication skills are essential for educating patients and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery.
