Registered Nurse (RN) | Psych Location: Harvey, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,741 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required License: Must have a valid RN license in hand Certifications: BLS required; CPI preferred Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Charting system experience required; Epic experience is required - Experience with patient ratios and behavioral health Description: The role involves providing care to adults experiencing acute mental health crises. The focus will be on stabilization and safety for patients. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes various support services. You will work with patients diagnosed with conditions such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and major depressive disorder. Responsibilities include administering medication, crisis intervention, and behavior management techniques. Additionally, you will be expected to manage self-injurious behavior and assist with wound care and dressing changes. Crisis intervention and managing assaultive behavior are also key aspects of the role. You will be required to float to other units as needed. Every other weekend may be required.
