Summary/Objective

The HR Leader is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. The HR Leader will be a services and solutions provider to the Aftermarket Division. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources function by implementing employee relations and human resources polices, programs and practices.

Essential Functions

* Participates in recruiting for exempt, non-exempt and temporary personnel; supporting a recruiting culture.
* Works closely with leaders and team members to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention
* Manage and resolve complex team member relations issues through conducting effective, thorough and objective investigations
* Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
* Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies
* As needed, prepares team members for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
* Supports performance management through planning, monitoring, and appraisal of team member work results by training leaders to coach and discipline team members; hearing and resolving grievances; advising team members and supervisors.
* Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
* Partner with Internal Audit team for SOX compliance
* Lead volunteer initiatives to support community impact
* Champion team member engagement events

Supervisory Responsibility

This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Clerical- Operates office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers.

Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system. Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails. Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules. Record, compile, transcribe and distribute minutes of meetings.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary.

Travel

Local travel is expected for this position. Minimal overnight travel may be required.

Required Education and Experience

* Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
* 5 to 7 years of experience
* Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives
* Competencies include excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills
* Flexible, innovative in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment
* Operates with utmost integrity.

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be able to pass EVerify.
