IT Service Desk AdministratorResponsibilities:* Ensure that the Help Desk phone line is monitored as needed.* Minor troubleshooting of technical problems pertaining to desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic software issues. * Assist in the maintenance of the loaner library.--Coordinate return dates on loaners to the library.* Oversee the purchase and delivery of new computer hardware and software.* Coordinate delivery schedules with the applicable internal and external parties.* Assist with the accurate tracking of all IT inventory.* Oversee the process of shipping/receiving hardware for return, exchange and/or repair.* Occasionally pick-up and/or deliver--computer related items from/to a vendor or facility.Purchasing - a. Creates work orders--as instructed to purchase IT hardware/softwareb. Works with vendors to obtain quotesi. Can spend more effort finding competitive pricingc. Works with vendors in purchasingd. Provides tracking information/updates to the teame. Receives all equipment (EA and WA)i. Determines who to notify parts arrivedii. Determines where the item needs to gof. Manages our standard equipment sheeti. Works with vendor to obtain EOL ii. Works with vendor to obtain replacement modelsInventory -a. Manages all incoming inventoryb. Coordinates all warranty repair workc. Coordinates the decommissioning of recycled hardwared. Maintains the availability of commonly used itemsi. Including office supplies for the IT staffAudit - a. Performs all monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual auditsi. Take over all scheduled audit work orders from Scottii. Work as the liaison for all external auditorsb. Performs the daily backup reviewc. Performs the daily failed login reviewsMeetings - a. Ensures all action items are logged in meeting minutes and creates work orders based on action items for the appropriate technicianService Desk - a. Coordinates all printer repair worki. Adams Remco dispatch, logs repair work, and ensures completionii. MCE repair - dispatch, logs repair work, and ensures completion/paymentb. Answers service desk line and attempts minimal troubleshooting steps if applicablei. Create work orders and send to awaiting assignment?c. Train end users on "easy fixes" such as:i. Printer installationii. Shortcutsiii. Assistance with user based preferencesiv. Adding users to WIFIv. Password Resets
