Rapids is looking for a System Administrator to join their IT team.
This role will manage and support the Windows Server environment,
network infrastructure, and backup systems. This role will be
responsible for maintaining high system availability, ensuring
network security, and supporting cloud productivity platforms such
as Google Workspace. The ideal candidate will have hands-on
experience with Cisco Meraki networking equipment, Windows Server,
backups, and monitoring tools. Job Responsibilities : Cybersecurity
: Manage cybersecurity tools and monitoring tools. User
Administration : Manage users, access control and devices for
Google Workspace, Active Directory, Group Policy and other
applications. Network & Servers : Managing the organizations LAN
Network, Wi-Fi, Windows Servers and virtual servers. Upgrading
legacy windows servers, upgrading Cisco Meraki equipment, etc.
Application Management : Upgrading enterprise applications, system
application support. Backups & Disaster Recovery: Managed the
organizations Veeam backup an disaster recovery plan.
Qualifications of the System Administrator: Bachelors Degree
(Preferred) Windows Server Administration - Experience with
upgrades, patching, and application migrations across Windows
Server environments. Network Management - Hands-on experience
managing Cisco network equipment and Meraki networks. Network
Monitoring & Security - Proficient with tools such as SolarWinds,
PRTG Network Monitor, and Kiwi Syslog for maintaining system uptime
and detecting security threats. Data Backup & Recovery - Strong
knowledge of Veeam Backup & Replication for business continuity and
disaster recovery planning. Cloud Productivity Platforms -
Administration of Google Workspace (or Microsoft 365), including
user management and access controls. Bonus Experience of the System
Administrator: Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, etc. Experience
with Cybersecurity tools or solutions Exposure to configuring and
managing Ruckus wireless Familiarity with Pure Storage arrays or
similar SAN solutions Experience working for a manufacturing
