Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: Ensures that all inventory items are properly
identified and readily accessible in accordance with the
organization’s inventory cycle. - Oversees employees who perform
inventory control functions such as inventory put-aways and all
inventory movement - Inventory maintenance in ERP and WMS systems -
Responsible for performing physical inventory counts, resolving
discrepancies, and adjusting inventory system accordingly -
Communicates with internal stakeholders across the organization
regarding inventory shortages, damages, or other inventory issues -
Informs internal stakeholders about updates to new item information
in the system. - Locates items that may have incorrect locations to
assist order pickers - Demonstrates and follows all food
safety/HAACP and dangerous good rules - Works with IC Manager to
plan and control labor costs Work Experience Requirements: -
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including
ability to effectively communicate with internal and external
customers - Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and
Outlook) - Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines,
while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary
customer service - Ability to work independently and to carry out
assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given,
prescribed routine, and standard accepted practices - Strong
knowledge of food safety/ HAACP and dangerous goods - 2 years in
Inventory Control or Operational role Education and/ or Work
Experience Preferred: - Minimum of an associate degree - Forklift
experience preferred - Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Physical
Requirements: - Ability to safely and successfully perform the
essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other
federal, state, and local standards, including meeting qualitative
and/or quantitative productivity standards. - Ability to maintain
regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and
other federal, state, and local standards - Must be able to talk,
listen, and speak clearly on the telephone and by computer
Additional Requirements: - May be required to work extended hours,
including weekends and holidays, as needed.
