Position Summary: The Line Leader/Machine Operator is responsible for the safe operation of machines in the Ready-to-Eat (RTE) department. Key Responsibilities: * Safely operate the machine to meet production expectations. * Assist with the direction of employees working on the line. * Properly set up the machine to operate safely, while meeting production expectations. * Properly clean the machine at the end of the shift. * Assist with paperwork as needed. * Perform safety inspections (guards, e-stop, etc.) daily. * Properly correct errors with the equipment (film jams, error codes, etc.) following all the required safety procedures. * All other duties as assigned. Education & Experience: * Ability to legally work in the United States is required. High School Diploma/GED preferred. * 2 years related work experience is preferred. Working Conditions: * Must be able to lift up to and including 50 pounds. * Able to push and pull items in excess of 50 pounds on an occasional basis. * Able to grip and grasp small objects repeatedly. * Must have good hand/eye coordination. * Able to work in a cold, damp environment. * Must be able to work in temperatures of 40 degrees or less. * Able to stand for 8-9 hours per day. * Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. * Must be able to bend, stoop and squat as needed for housekeeping responsibilities and other miscellaneous duties. * Must be able to work 40 or more hours per week. Pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
