Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for a current QC - Quality Control job in (Elkhart IN). This is a long-term temporary opportunity.

The Quality Inspectors work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with changing priorities throughout the day. They are responsible for visually inspecting raw and laminated wood, trim, doors and panels for dimensional irregularities, imperfections and any other defects as they come off the production line. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring the product meets our customer?s specifications by reading work orders and gaining knowledge about our product through on the job training. In addition, the Quality Inspector champions communication verbally or/and through written reports to management about quality assurance. Responsibilities for this QC –Quality Inspector job include:

• Candidates must have previous experience working in Quality Control; RV, MH finished lines are desired.

• Must be detail orientated.

• Good work history is a must.

• Physical demands of the position include: frequent bending, reaching, twisting, squatting, walking, pulling, pushing, grasping, and standing throughout the duration of the shift 8 to 12 hours.

• Must have good math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions to perform random sample audits.

• Must have good eye sight to visually inspect wood and vinyl products.

• Must be able to read measuring tools including calipers, gages and a tape measure (down to the 32nd).

• Follow written and verbal directions in English.

• Must be able to work overtime when mandatory.

• Candidates must be confident and possess communication skills to discuss with supervisors defective product run by operators.

We have openings on both the second shift (Monday - Friday from 3:30PM-120AM) and on the third shift (Sunday - Thursday from 10:30PM - 7:00AM)

Pay for this position is $12/hr plus overtime as needed. This is a long-term temporary opportunity.
