• Demonstrate a strong commitment to LCI's safety and personnel policies.
• Determine and execute fabrication of mechanical/ electrical systems and assemblies.
• Component design and fabrication.
• Conceptual development of products.
• Documentation of assembly of products. Notation of design changes and issues.
• Tracking time associated with specific tasks.
• Document inventory transactions.
• Ensure bill of material and process documentation by documenting changes to BOM's during build process.
• Assist manufacturing assembly areas through first runs of products.
• Provide instruction and technical support for LCI production and customers. -Competencies

• Availability for field support/ customer visits.
• Organize all support material and data related to build process. The position requires walking and standing primarily on a level surface for extended periods. - Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, and/or lifting as much as 50 lbs. in a repetitive manner are common. - -The performance of this position requires exposure to the manufacturing areas were the use of personal protective equipment is mandatory. - For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional equipment as typically found in the manufacturing plant environment, however, working outdoors is sometimes required. - -Position Type/Expected Hours of Work -This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend and overnight work is also necessary. -Travel -Local travel maybe expected for this position. -Preferred Education and ExperienceAssociate Degree, technical school, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position: Product development, RV service/tech support, mechanic, etc. Excellent mechanical aptitudeAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints. Ability to understand and use mathematical concepts relating to fabrication: dimension, tolerances, etc. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
