years.JOB DESCRIPTIONBig Ten Network is searching for a Crewing
Coordinator to join their team in Chicago, IL. The Crewing
Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the staffing of full
production crews for remote events for the organization. This
includes interviewing, booking, and scheduling for live events and
studio productions in both union and non-union markets. This role
is also responsible for dispatching and supervising the crew,
including but not limited to performance feedback, coaching, and
development.A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Crew live sporting events, studio show programming, and other
events as assigned at assigned schools and/or event locations
- Knowledge and understanding of all remote crew roles and
responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance of freelance employees, including
weekly crew forecasting, timely onboarding, timesheet submission,
and payroll approvals
- Effectively manage event production budgets to ensure fiscally
responsible crewing decisions are made, including but not limited
to travel costs and management of rate plans
- Ensure all events are appropriately crewed on time, entered
into appropriate systems, and communicated to appropriate
partners.
- Communicate crewing information for all events, including but
not limited to sign-in sheets and alerts
- Maintain database of all crew members in each market, including
master crew complements for all events and shows
- Understand and leverage producer/director reports for all crew
complements in each market to determine staffing needs
- Any other duties as assigned by ManagementWHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2+ years of experience
- Solid understanding of the unique nature of Sports Media and
remote event and studio production
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of union (IATSE)
policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and outstanding organizational
skills
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite Applications
(including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Understanding of applications such as Google Platforms,
Salesforce, and Slack
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and assess
priorities
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and remain highly
self-motivated while working independently
- Able to travel to meetings, live sporting events, and/or media
events throughout the year
- Available to work a varying schedule and on call that includes
late nights and weekends as assigned, dependent upon event
programming throughout the year
- Always available and on call to address last-minute crewing
emergencies of any kind for eventsNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A

- Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting, Communications,
Radio/TV/Film, or equivalent work experienceWe are an equal

and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this
role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills,
experience, and location is $23.50-27.25 per hour. This role is

other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with
