Great opportunities.Lead Fleet Technician - Mobile StorageAs a Lead Fleet Technician at United Rentals, you are responsible for communicating instructions to the outside team as directed by the Branch & Fleet Manager. You will also diagnose and repair Mobile Storage units on customer job-sites while demonstrating the customer service skills necessary to build and maintain customer satisfaction. Plus, you will have the opportunity to relocate to one of our 1,000+ locations.Additional duties include the following:Lead the branch operations team while also working closely with the Branch & Fleet ManagerCoordinate & communicate daily work orders to outside teamProvide performance input to Branch & Fleet ManagerPerform hands on activities with respect to fleet maintenance, cleaning, and repairsEnsure inbound and outbound inspections are completed, including inspection of interior, exterior, plumbing, electrical and HVACAssist with inventory tracking movementCreate safe work environmentOther duties assigned as neededJob Requirements:High School diploma or equivalentStrong communication and leadership skillsGeneral Construction knowledge and backgroundKnowledge of repairing, removing and installing floors, tile, roofs, walls, framing, doors, leaks, caulking, windows, screens, painting, electrical, plumbing, filters/dampers, replacing skin, trimFamiliarity with hooking mobile office to power sourceValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordSuperior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skillsAbility to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.At United Rentals, the largest equipment rental company, we believe that it takes great employees to build a great organization - and we're passionate about helping our people grow professionally and embrace teamwork in everything they do.
