Job Summary:
The Chassis Yard Receiving Clerk position is responsible for the
process of receiving and moving raw chassis'. This position will be
required to check in all incoming chassis', including matching
vehicle VIN numbers, looking over chassis damage, and moving
chassis' throughout or chassis lot. You will also be responsible
for performing these duties while engaging in safe acts and
maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining inventory control levels and locations.
* Perform weekly inventory checks.
* Route items to various production lines.
* Examine incoming chassis drop offs to ensure material is not
damaged
* Safely utilize or operate chassis to move them according to
proper safety
instructions
* Bi-annual plant inventory duties.
* Daily housekeeping of work area.
* Some assembly or dis-assembly of parts.
* May be called upon to pull or move material from stock and
plant.
* Use of computer to check locations for stock when requested.
* Performs other related work as required and assigned.
Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED Required
* Ability to commit to flexible schedule and prompt arrival for
shifts
* Prior Material Handling experience preferred
* Positive Attitude
* Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with team
members
* Basic Understanding of common computer programs
* Reliable, prompt and a good attendance record
* Knowledgeable in warehousing procedures

* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
* Ability to work with arms above head.
* Able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
* Ability to calculate mathematical values.
* Ability to give attention to detail.
Work Environment:
* Primarily outside environment.
* Production Floor occasionally.
* Office occasionally.
Personal Protective Equipment recommended and/or required on
production floor:
* Safety glasses.
* Earplugs.
* Work gloves.
