Minimum Qualifications SummaryCertification & Education
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and
work overseas.
- Must meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management
certification requirements as per OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction
8523.01, and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
- Must complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year
reinvestigation requirement), favorable ST5 investigation
(including SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD CE/CV
program), be adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD CAF without
conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of performance, and
maintain the security level for the contract duration.
- Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.Experience Required
- Full understanding and experience with the Maritime
Prepositioned Force (MPF) program, USMC MPF operations, doctrine,
service policy, and joint policy.
- Ten years of military experience.Job ObjectiveUnder a five-year
contract, the Logistics Prepositioning Planner (Maritime) will
support MARCENT and subordinate commands, providing professional
services at MacDill AFB, Florida, including planning, deployment,
sustainment, and redeployment support for Marine Corps forces
aligned with USCENTCOM. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment
accountability, supply support, distribution, and readiness
monitoring, along with developing deployment strategies and
supporting operational planning.Responsibilities
- Provide MPF planning services.
- Review operational plans to ensure proper employment of MPF
assets.
- Develop prepositioning strategies, plans, and budgets.
- Enhance MARCENT prepositioning capabilities and
documentation.
- Maintain web pages, historical files, and documentation related
to prepositioning.
- Advise on planning requirements, capabilities, and operational
employment.
- Prepare reports, conduct assessments, and participate in
conferences.
- Assist in training objectives and develop SOPs, policies, and
directives based on lessons learned.Education & Certification
- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel
overseas.

- Travel: Support for travel to various countries in USCENTCOM
AOR and supporting locations, including readiness for short-notice
OCONUS travel, with the ability to execute travel throughout the
