our significant growth plans, we are looking for an Area Manager to
join us to oversee our Midwest Area. You will set the vision and
direction of an entire market by motivating and developing Store
Managers to coach and lead high-performing teams. You will also act
as an ambassador and role model in creating a culture that links to
Primark’s brand values: inclusive, ambitious, current, honest, and
engaging. Area Managers are accountable for delivering Primark’s
proposition - maximizing joy and minimum cost. You will drive sales
performance through regular store visits, working closely with
Store Managers to develop strategic planning, proactively identify
commercial opportunities, and improve our customer experience
through customer feedback and transactional information. At
Primark, Area Managers are empowered to lead and inspire our store
teams to deliver exceptional operational excellence. You will
support store managers in achieving key performance indicators,
implementing cost controls, and driving continuous improvement.
You'll ensure optimal resource planning and foster a culture of
safe working by enforcing EHS standards and proactively addressing
potential hazards. As a role model and brand ambassador, you'll
motivate teams to exceed retail objectives, improve stock loss
results, and uphold our Finance and operational policies. With
strong leadership and commercial acumen, you'll analyze performance
reports, guide teams to maximize stock and sales opportunities, and
collaborate to achieve strategic retail goals. What You’ll Get

successful in this role, you must have 5 years prior experience as
a retail Store Manager in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
You will have excellent leadership and people management skills
with experience in developing high performing teams and future
leaders. Commercially astute, you must have the ability to analyze
reports and guide teams to improve commercial performance. A true
leader, you will be able to engage and influence stakeholders and
act as a role model to motivate and inspire a team that exudes
confidence and enthusiasm. As a role model, you have demonstrated
experience in empowering and enabling a team to deliver excellent
customer service and store standards while maintaining
effectiveness and focus on customer needs. You bring strong
planning and organizational skills and the ability to work to
agreed timescales. Position holder must be able to communicate
effectively and efficiently, orally and in writing, with managers,
supervisors, and hourly colleagues in English to provide
instruction, coaching, corrective action, safety instructions and
lead teams as a manager daily and in emergencies. Position holder
must also be able to provide amazing customer service in English,
which includes being able to orally communicate with customers in
English and monitor the performance of English-speaking colleagues
whose job duties require communication with customers. Excited?
