It's kind of a big deal!ABOUT THE RV SALES REPRESENTATIVE JOBRV SALES REPRESENTATIVE SUMMARYThis salesperson represents the ITC RV product line and is responsible for servicing existing RV accounts in the upper Midwest. This individual works closely with the RV Business Manager to meet annual sales revenue and other departmental goals. THE CORE DUTIES OF THE RV SALES REPRESENTATIVEWork with the RV Business Manager to create and execute a sales plan designed to achieve sales goals, while supporting the current customer base. Facilitate communications between the customer and the customer care team in the process of securing and revising orders and providing quotes.Develop a robust pipeline of new product placement with existing accounts.Guide customers with product recommendations, based on specifications, performance requirements or applicable regulations. Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs and on technical knowledge of product capabilities and limitations.Assist with customer quality concerns by assisting and communicating with the quality team to see that customer concerns are addressed.Document account activities, generate sales reports, and keep records of significant customer communications/transactions. Become an expert with the ITC RV product line, and a trusted advisor for customer base, answering questions about products, pricing, and availability. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand customer requirements and help identify new product solutions. Obtain forecasting information from customers and reporting potential losses and gains through the use of CRM software and sharing such information with the purchasing team. Manage customer driven new product initiatives. This includes submitting Project Request Forms, providing production start and PPAP needed dates, presenting PPAP samples to customer for changes or approval, monitoring engineering and production processes to ensure timeliness, reviewing engineering and purchasing documentation to ensure accuracy. Also providing feedback to product design teams so that products can be tailored to clients' needs. Develop and strengthen internal and external professional relationships.Attend sales or trade meetings or read related publications to obtain information about market conditions, business trends, or industry developments. Keep ITC informed of industry news and trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments. JOB DESIRABLES AND REQUIREMENTS Must have associates degree or combination of high school diploma or equivalent and three years job experience in sales or customer service-related industry.B2B and OE sales experience required. RV OE sales experience is ideal.Demonstrated experience with follow up and closing, territory management, prospecting, negotiation, product knowledge, and building strong customer relationships. Communicating effectively in writing, virtually, and verbally as appropriate for the needs of the audience. Experience with virtual and remote selling techniques.Creative and energetic with strong internal motivation to grow and learn. Ability to work well with others across a broad spectrum of education, experiences and backgrounds.Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new software applications, including CRMs, and ERPs.Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products in an OE setting.
