seeking future team members for our BNY Wealth with roles located
in Chicago Illinois in onsite positions. You’ll make an impact in
the following ways: The Market President II will provide input in
the determination of the regions overall strategic plan and will
lead the translation and implementation of that plan into the local
market strategy to increase market share and profitability Oversees
all aspects of Wealth Management relationship management and the
business development families in a market. Will oversee local
market leadership, portfolio managers, Team Leaders, Client
Strategists and Bankers Sets the standards for dealing with
unprecedented, complex or intricate issues regarding prospect
needs, deal structure, negotiations, priorities, compliance,
regulations, etc. Establishes guiding principles or standard
operating procedures to ensure consistency of approach across the
family. Reviews and approves deal structure ensuring optimal terms
for both the client and the firm and mitigating risk where
necessary. Ensures deals are compliant with all regulations.
Ensures staff have access to the right firm-wide resources
(marketing, legal, compliance, etc.) to ensure the most appropriate
response to prospect proposals and deal structure. Recruits,
directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual
contribution, their professional growth and their ability to
function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Continually
coaches and monitors skill development of the team, ensuring that
team members have access to and take advantage of formal and
informal training opportunities, foster mentorships, etc. Actively
sources for key roles and identifies candidates with existing
relationships that would complement market growth. Manages multiple
teams within Business Development and portfolio management within a
market or across multiple markets. To be successful, we’re seeking
interest in the follow areas: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
combination of education and experience is required.
Advanced/graduate degree preferred. Typically requires 15 years of
total work experience and 5-7 years of management experience
preferred, preferably in Business Development or a client-facing

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation
package for our employees. The base salary for this position is
expected to be between $300,000 and $400,000 per year at the
commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be
determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience
and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation
package, which, depending on the position, may also include
commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term
incentive packages, and company- sponsored benefit programs. This
position is at-will, and the Company reserves the right to modify
base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation)
at any time, including for reasons related to individual
performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual
department/team performance and market factors.
