Bakery is seeking experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Cake
Decorators to join our vibrant culinary team. In this role, you
will bring artistic flair and technical expertise to create
stunning, customized cakes that delight our customers. Your
culinary skills will ensure each cake not only looks exceptional,
but also meets high standards of food safety and quality. This
position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity
while working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
dedicated to celebrating life's special moments. Responsibilities -
Prepare fillings, icings, and assemble custom cakes and tiered
cakes with precision and consistency - Design and decorate cakes
with intricate piping, fondant work, and other decorative
techniques to meet customer specifications - Maintain a clean and
organized work area in compliance with food safety standards and
sanitation protocols - Assist Sales Team by providing expert advice
on cake design techniques and customization options Skills -
Extensive experience in cake decorating including icing custom
cakes and tiered cakes, detailed piping, fondant sculpting,
airbrushing, and edible decorations - Strong knowledge of food
safety and sanitation practices within a commercial kitchen or
bakery setting - Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and
shaping of cake components - Able to lift 50 lbs and remain
standing for extended periods of time - Able to assist in
delivering custom and tiered cakes to ensure quality during
transport and final display as needed - Flexible schedule - must be
able to work weekends - Exhibits strong core values: willing to go
